This weekend my phone started slowing down. Each time I ask it to do something, such as delete an email, the hourglass comes up and it takes much longer than usual. It's also having trouble making calls and is having a delayed response when I try to end a call.
Applications on the blackberry do not close when opened, each application you open consumes memory. Also the working memory and the memory to store programs are shared unless you have installed a microSD card. Remove and reinsert your battery, if a hard reset speeds the phone up your problem is open applications. If it does not, your problem is that you are out of space and need to remove some applications or install a larger capacity SD card.

I removed and reinserted the battery and that seems to have fixed the problem. I have a memory card in it, so I figured that wasn't the issue. Thanks!

I'm trying to find a wireless headset that I can use with my home phone (land line, cordless phone). I know I'll probably have to also purchase a new cordless home phone to make this work, but that's ok since my existing home phones are starting to ''**** out'' anyway. My biggest question that I can't seem to find an answer to anywhere: Is there any way I could use my Bluetooth headset for this purpose? Several land-line cordless phones are now listed as ''Bluetooth Enabled''. (for example: AT&T DECT 6.0 Expandable Cordless Phone System, Model TL92278). But the description of this Bluetooth feature makes it sound like the only thing it does is allow you to make cell phone calls using the handset of your cordless land-line phone (when your cell is connected to the base unit of the cordless phone, via Bluetooth connection). Or do I absolutely have to buy a wireless headset designed exclusively for use with a land-line phone? These headsets tend to be expensive and I would need an over-the-ear headset (only a few are on the market, priced $80 and up). The headsets using the over-the-head bands always give me bad headaches. It doesn't say anywhere in the technical details for these Bluetooth enabled phones that a Bluetooth headset can be used for regular calls that use your land-line connection. Any suggestions?
