I recently bought a WD external hard drive my book essential1tb. I connected it to the computer using a usb. It shows up under My computer as G drive (My Book). Now, I was going to do my first backup of the entire system via Programs-Acessories-System Tools-Backup. When Backup looks to where to save it to, only my A drive (floppy), H drive (removable disk), C drive (removable disk) shows up. Not even my CD drive (D), or My DVD drive (E) or my G drive (my Book) shows up. What should I do? Thanks so much.

hey when you use the back up on the accessories, it pertains to backup everything that attached to your computer, the harddisk, c: an d: if you have a partion, and a: since your cd drive is reading cd that can be remove you dont have to back up that, and also you g drive cause you can remove it, the computer is set to back up only those drive, the floppy, and hardisk.
