Hello. My problem is that it keeps saying" "S A F E"

Hello -

You've accidentally switched the Child Lock feature ON.

To de-activate the Child Lock on most GoVideo DVD/VCR players, press and hold the POWER button on the GoVideo remote control for about 10 seconds. The SAFE message should disappear and you should be able to use the player again.

(To activate the Child Lock again, press and hold the POWER button for about 10 seconds)

I can't be 100% certain this will work for you as you didn't include the model number of your player. If you need further assistance, or you don't have the original GoVideo remote, please reply to me with the model number of your player.

Hope this helps.

Can't turn on my go video dvd/vcr player, keeps

Unplug it, press the power button, then plug it in and retry it. If it doesn't work, unplug it, press power, and let it sit a couple days, to try to reset everything. There may be a reset pinhole in the back, unplug it and press the reset button.

I recently purchased a new flat screen TV a Samsung that has a remote that can be configured for all of your devices the manual for the TV has a list of codes that you have to put in so the remote can work with them. They have a code for a VCR player and some codes for a DVD player separate but not a code for a combo DVD/VCR player. I have hooked up another DVD player that I have and the procedure to set it up works fine and I have contacted Samsung and all the connections are correct do you possibly know if there is a different code for the combo units.
