Go to your menus, set all to factory settings or default.
Test the camera by using more of the settings, and notice how it works.
The LCD settings especially are what you want to make sure are set right...not too bright, and of course not too dim either.

Dark screen when I turn on the camera and take pictures.

It looks like the LCD backlight malfunction. Check the backlight voltage, if you have the voltage there, you need to replace the LCD unit, otherwise the main board is defective.

LCD screen and pictures go completly white

The camera is defective. But as you've only had the camera three months it still is under warranty. Canon is usually very responsive to these type of problems and will bend over backwards to make things right (probably the most responsive of the camera companies).

Call 1-800-OK-CANON to resolve this issue.

White screen on my camera and can take picture picture is black colour

i think the LCD has been set to a very high brightness set the LCD brihtnes lower from the settings..

better more is to reset the camera to the default settings this would set the aperture, shutter, Exposure, LCD brightness and other settings to defaults and this would save from any unwanted changes than required

pls rate if it was any help

You are looking at two different monitors with different settings. In most cases you will need to do some editing yourself on your computer because of the difference. Or the brightness can be done in a lab.

Fuji f20. Led screen dark. Pictures and menus barely visible.

there may be a portion of the menu -> setup that lets you set the brightness of the lcd. i know i can do it on my s5100 so you may be able to do so as well.

I have a sony cybershot DSC-S650, the LCD was very dark and could not see anything except if I pointed it at a bright object, everything else worked ok. I could take pictures but could barely see them in playback as well.

I took it to Sony authorised repair outlet and was told the CCD was damaged, they charged me USD $55 to repair it (in Quito, Ecuador)

The LCD screen is hard to see. What should I do?

If the LCD screen is too bright or too dark, adjust the LCD Brightness setting in the Setup Menu. If you are shooting photos outdoors in bright light, move the joystick to the icon showing the sun over shaowed area to turn on Outdoor mode and make the LCD screen easier to see in bright light.

Low Lite LCD Use

The LCD is completely WYSIWYG and if you can't see anything through the LCD then the picture you take will be black too. If you are outside and open the shutter really wide you will see the LCD go white as the light overpowers the exposure. The best thing to do is to increase the ambient light in the area by turning on every light. You will still use the flash for the picture but you need to get more light on the scene to see through the LCD. For what it is worth, an optical viewfinder probably wouldn't do any better job in those situations.
