Have you re-installed the printer drivers with the printer reconnected. Some tcp/ip printer drivers will lose their ip settings if the device is disconnected for a set number of reboots. Also, if the DHCP or NAT settings are altered, the device will vanish from the network. Try reinstalling the printer drivers with the printer connected and turned on and the device drivers should detect the printer again and reconnect to it. When the cable was removed, if it was simply pulled out, was any damage caused to the ports the printer was plugged into..? Network ports are fragile and the insertion or removal of a cable connector with just a little too much force can cause damage to the port. Carefully inspect the port both inside and where possible, outside including the electrical connections to the circuit board the port is fitted to.

Lexmark c935 error video making

If you have replaced the engine board on your Lexmark C935 printer and are still experiencing an error 905.01, there could be a few other possible issues that may be causing the problem. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Check the printer's firmware: Make sure the printer's firmware is up to date. If the firmware is out of date, it can cause errors like 905.01. You can check for updates on the Lexmark website or by contacting Lexmark customer support.
  2. Check for any visible issues: Inspect the printer and its components for any visible issues that may be causing the error. This can include debris or foreign objects that may have gotten stuck in the printer, or damage to the printer or its components.
  3. Check for other issues: If you have checked the firmware and there are no visible issues with the printer, it is possible that there is another issue causing the error. You may need to have the printer serviced by a professional to diagnose and fix the problem.
I hope this information is helpful. If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please don't hesitate to ask.

Carriage hp paper

Since A3 is twice the size of A4 I doubt it but... Does A3 size fit in the paper tray? If so you may be in luck but the original CD should have had the right driver, go to Lexmark site.

Cannot get the wireless connection to work on the printer. The USB cable is connected to the back of the PCU. I've installed and uninstalled twice and nothing. It did work when I first got it and...

Here are some guidelines to identify and fix your wireless communication issue:
  • What is the status of the Wi-Fi light on the printer? Green light means that it's connected to a wireless network while Orange light means it's not connected to a network.
  • Try to print the printer's wireless network settings to determine if it's connected to your own wireless network. On the printer operator panel, touch the Setup button > Network Setup > Print Setup Page. Your printer will then print the its wireless network information page. Ensure that the printer is connected to your network by checking the Network Card Status, Wireless SSID, Quality or Trouble Code.
  • If printer is not connected to your network, you may need to reset your printer's wireless network settings. On the printer operator panel, press Setup button > Network Setup > Reset Network Settings. The Wi-Fi light on the printer will momentarily turn off then back on to solid orange. You can then run the Wireless Setup Utility application on your computer to reconfigure the printer to connect to your wireless network. On your computer, launch the Lexmark Printer Home application > go to Settings tab > Wireless Setup Utility. Please follow the instructions on your computer screen.

Lexmark C935, just fitted a 40x3748 Fuser unit and 40x3698 Transfer Roller, but parts of printouts are still patchy. Is there anything else to replace that would help.

If you are missing spots on the print, are they in the same spot every time? Are they repetitive. If they are repetitive then if you can measure it will usually tell you exactly what is wrong. Make sure the there is no dust/paper blocking any of the laser windows. You might have a bad ITU PN 40X3732, hope not because it is expensive.

1. The printer is printing everything in landscape. I have checked the settings and it is set to portrait printing. I tried changing it to landscape and then back and it still printed in landscape. ...

1. You could try to reinstall the Z2420 driver on your computer. 2. Try to reset the wireless network adapter of your printer. Follow the instructions in this article from the Lexmark website on How to Reset the Internal Network Adapter on Lexmark Z2400 Series Printers. Open Lexmark Wireless Setup Utility to reconfigure your printer to connect to your wireless network.
Thanks.

Print jobs no longer arrive on printer

try this: make sure you do not have any pending printjobs (cancel all documents if there's one) then delete all printer icons. Reboot the computer then launch the printer server software to locate it. add that network printer & make it your default.

probability is that some of your applications are sending printjobs to the wrong queue (like the one for the USB connection).
