Re: tv does not stay on.

Your most likely having a problem with your power supply. I would say check the capacitors for obvious signs of swelling and all fuses first. Next I would check your low voltage regulators.Have you tried pushing the menu and imput buttons together and holding them for 5 seconds to access the self diagnosis feature? If you cant initiate the self diagnosis feature its probaly the capacitors or Regulators.

The timer light green blinking all the time

You most likely have some bad capacitors on the dm board, unfortunately the board is not available for this set, the complete chassis has to be sent in to Mitsubishi to be rebuilt.

The Power/Timer light SHOULD stay green on a normal working TV. It sounds like the main board is either defective or has a connection problem to ??? (power supply, etc). All fans should be turning (a hint of missing power). Check ALL thorough.

Green power light will not stop flashing and tv will not turn on or off

You need to replace the 1000uf capacitors on the DM board thats the classic symptom of the DM caps being bad the light continues to blink repeatedly. If you need more info on the repair let me know.
