1Lift the output tray. 2Open the paper trays and remove any paper. 3Turn OFF your printer. 4Wait 30 seconds, and then disconnect the following from the back of your printer: USB cable, Ethernet cable, Fax cable, AC power cord. CAUTION: Do not use force when removing the paper from the printer. 5Check inside the cleanout area for a paper jam. If necessary, remove any paper or debris. 6If paper is not visible, check the printer for foreign objects, such as paper clips or staples. If necessary, carefully remove the foreign objects from your printer. 7Open the printer access door. 8Remove any foreign objects from the printhead access area, and then close the printer access door. 9Connect the following to the back of your printer: USB cable, Ethernet cable, Fax cable, AC power cord. 10Wait 30 seconds, and then turn ON the printer. 11Squeeze and move the paper-width guide on the paper tray to the left. 12Load the paper into the upper paper tray. 13Squeeze and move the paper-width guide to the right until it touches the paper. 14Close the paper tray.
