Correction Ribbon

I am having much difficulty replacing the correction ribbon for the EM-530 typewriter!!! No matter how we replace, it will not correct a mistake....please help!!

I have the same problem

I know someone who can solve this problem

Our correction tape was working fine so I'm not sure what happened. The dull side is towards the paper. It's lined up in the guides. It will move back and strick the correction tape but the white "powder" doesn't seem to go onto the page and correct? Could we have hit a faulty spot in the tape?

If the machine is making allthe correction movements, be sure the correction tape is installed with the dull side facing the paper.
