First you may want to check all of your cable connections, splitters or boosters if you have any.
Then if possible try to connect another tv or vcr to the same cable to see if you get anything, this might help confirm either the tv or cable signal is the problem.
If it is the tv then you may have a tuner problem and unless you are well versed in tv repair you`ll need the help from a local repairman.

I am at the same state your in the tv from back side of it inside holds 3 little glass fuses did you check those? for fuse pop i did mines still good
but still wont power back on just a quick blink from front when the power is plugged back in
