The washer stopped on the drain/spin cycle, with the water level full. The rotary/timing switch does not engage in any cycle. At best I get a buzzing sound for about 5 seconds before it cuts out and then nothing.
Is this a timing switch problem or indicative of something else?
Can you provide the full Make, Model and Kenmore Model Number. Sears / Kenmore model numbers use the format ###.######## with the first three digits of 110 for Whirlpool manufactured machines. The problem could be the timer or lid switch but I'd hesitate to suggest a solution without the full model number.

I have a Kenmore Legacy Series top load washer that doesn't seem to completely spin the water out of the clothes when in the final spin cycle. Someone told me that this sounds like a belt problem , i.e. the belt is too loose. If so, is there an adjustment on the belt or should I try a new belt?

I have a kenmore 22622 top load washer that washes, agitates then right before draining and rinse/spin cycle it just stops. It sounds like the timer is still going but no action takes place...this will happen on all 3 wash settings (heavy duty, normal, and delicate). There is a small (balanced) load sitting in about 6inches of water. Wires and connections look good and dry. Thank you for your insight! Matt
