- unplug any other USB device that's attached other than keyboard and mouse
- turn off ipod and attach it to your system
- With IPT attached press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for at least 10secs until apple logo appears
- hopefully windows will recognize the IPT and you try and restore again.

You can download a FREE program called IBRICKR from http://www.soft82.com/get/download/windows/ibrickr/ which will reset your ipod touch in approximately 15 secs without any messing around with Itunes and all of that. My ipod touch is frozen on the "slide to turn off" screen. I've only had it for 3 hours!! ??what do i do?? ive tried holding down the off button again but nothing happens and ive tried hitting the home button and nothing happens! PLEASE HELP!
