Re: printer not recognizing web browser print request

Hi scooter,

The solution to your problem is that need to go into control panel then printers and set printer as default. If that dont work then try to re-install your printer drivers that should do the job.

When printing spreadheet with multiple pages despite asking to print full spreadsheet the printer prints page by page and the resume button needs to be pressen for each page to print

Make sure that the the spreadsheet print settings match the printer settings. They have to be the same, else the printer settings most likely take priority. So when your print window comes up click on the (printer) 'options' (top right corner) and set those options according to the spreadsheet

Prints from WORD, but will not print any web pages

As you are able to get prints from word, it means there is no problem with your printer. So to figure out the problem, install any other browsers like firefox or google crome and try printing a web page from that browsers.
If working fine, then the problem is with your older browser.

I hope this is helpful to you

Epson Stylus C670 printer not printing spreadsheets nor web pages

You indicated you uninstalled the software. Are you meaning the driver or the printers software?
I will go at this from both points. If you have reloaded drivers, have you switched the type of driver your using. There are 2 types PCL and PS post script drivers, switching the type may help.
Have you installed the actual printer software, and if so have you cleared the memory. Software corruption is a possibility.
Have you tried disabling any firewalls, pop up blockers, anti spyware programs like Spybot or adaware ?
I have seen those block printers and print data in the past.
Some things, when you mention web pages, are copy write protected and will not print, but that does not address the spreadsheet.
Cables would not be a problem if you can print e-mail and test pages. You are having the data blocked by some program on the computer.
You need to turn them off one at at time until you find out which one is stopping the data transfer.
That's an odd problem, but just yesterday I have a funeral home have an application problem like that , and it was their spyware program that was causing the problem.
Be persistant, and you will find it by process of elimination.
Let me know if your still having problems ok. Will be glad to research it more for you.

HP 7260 works fine with e-mails and documents. Does not print internet pages.

This sounds like an issue with your web browser. Which web browser are you using? Do you get any error message when you print? Also, when you print, make sure it is printing to the printer you think you have set up. The web browser will allow you to print to a different printer, then remember those settings.
