I am trying to record on a dvd and every time i put a blank dvd in i get a Error box across screen that Recording error Can not record on this disc E 4 54040990 I have tried Different Brands of dvd and still get the same message.

Go into the setup menu and change the dvd / tv setting from dubbing to recording.
