Question about IBM ThinkPad T40 2373 Notebook
I have an IBM t40 laptop that i got for christmas and the "u " key came off. I looked on other websites and it says to just press down on the key, but this one has some kind of hooky thing that is supposed to slide into the key. However, i tried their advice, and the key would only slide in lopsided. And then it would come off. Again. I am really pissed because i heard that youu need some kind of special tool to fix it.
You are under warranty. Same thing happened to me with a Sony--the key was just defective. Call your IBM helpdesk and ask them to send you another key.
