Problem for Aiwa UZ-US501 Computer Speakers

When the settings are on pl2c1 during dialog, the rear speakers cut off and on, but when it's loud the rear speakers are fine. When the settings are any different the rear speakers are fine. I want to stay on pl2c1 or pl2mu because they don't have a reverb. How do I fix this problem? And I was also unable to install windvd 5 that came with the system.
