Blank Monitor Screen

I have CTX-1765D 17" colour monitor. I was working on my computer, Suddenly the monitor screen became blank. Now the monitor is not working. The screen is still blank. BUT the LED is showing that the monitor is receiving the current properly. WHAT COULD BE THE REASON and SOULTION FOR THIS PROBLEM. Please Help!!!. I will be waiting very anxiuously.

I have ViewSonic VA1912w 19" colour monitor. I was working on my computer, Suddenly the monitor screen became blank. Now the monitor is not working. The screen is still blank. BUT the LED is showing that the monitor is receiving the current properly. WHAT COULD BE THE REASON and SOULTION FOR THIS PROBLEM. Please Help!!!. I will be waiting very anxiuously.

i have monitor samsung type gh15ls,i wasn't know,how it happened,suddenly
i found my monitor fumed ,after that i opened the cover and watching it,i found switching power ic has bursting,and the type that ic was erased,ic have 8 pin, help me,what type ic was,thankyou

I have an LCD Screen monitor. I was using it and then suddenly turned black. The power light stayed green.

First, try unhooking the VGA cable from your computer to see if the LCD test screen will come on. IF so, the video card has failed or somehow lost communication with the monitor and it could be in standby mode. This is usually indicated by an orange LED, but it depends on the monitor.
It sounds as if the backlight for your LCD has failed. Your LCD may still be working, but the lisghts that shine through it are not on so you can't see it. .This could be caused by a a failure of the inverter board.
Try shining a flashlight at the screen at several angles to see if you can make out any images on the screen after your computer has started.
