I have an Intermittent fault with braun 18" dishwasher, it fills with water the control panel lights up it then chugs away for a few minutes and then just cuts out, lies dead for a bit and then bingo comes to life again. I have no idea how long this has been going on as only noticed it over xmas break. It can take 5 hours to complete a cycle.

My Bosch Excell AUTO OPTION model # SGS43E08GB/35
Has exactly the same problem, i have taken it apart at the front and got it to work for one cycle, messed around with the door lock (now broken lol) so i know i need a new one of them, but when this was broken i held the on/off switch in and it worked, but then cut out even though the micro switch was in the right position, and i was holding the on/off switch in still....do you think the problem lies in the on /off switch, or + micro switch or further towards the control module? am i going to be wasting my money !!! please, any info would be superb cheers Darren.
