You have a bad overload/relay . Pt number 12002783 . This kit is easily replaceable , it just plugs onto the side of the compressor . I usually do not put the black cover back on . The old one , just prys off.

For some reason my fridge is not cooling at the top of the freezer side of the fridge and on the bottom there is a bunch of frozen ice probably from the condensation water that goes to the bottom and freezes since the freezer on the bottom is cold also the ice maker has completely stopped working and there is no ice potentially because its to hot to make ice on the top i remember the last bits of ice that were coming out of the fridge were not frozen completely. anyways any help with this situation would be great since i cant afford a repairman for this. the model number for this fridge is msd2458ge

I have a side by side model msd2456de maytag refrigerator. The refrigerator is not cooling, however the freezer side is cooling fine. This has happened before, but I'm tired of spending huge $ to have someone fix it for me. I know it is a simple repair. Any ideas?
