Did you just install it????? If not check the batteries and replace them first....check for corroding also....if you just replaced the thermostat did you wire it correctly????/Wire for Wire???? If so if you have 4 wires in your thermostat you require a jumper wire between RH & RC....if you have 5 wires...no jumper is required....is the Furnace power on???

my heat pump runs most all the time i will set the thermostat on 70 when it gets to 70 it still runs I can kick it back down to 69 and it kicks off.I can put it on 72 when it gets to 72 it still runs, I can kick it back down to 71 and it kicks off..???outside temp between 12 and 25..

I have a Honeywell AM! Thermostatice mixing valve installed on my boiler to control the hot water flow. Recently it will run warm for 5 or so minutes then turn cold. It has been relplaced twice so far. After inspecting it myself (no plumbing experience at all, housewife) I believe my service man has been installing it upside down. Whould this have any affect on the part?
