When i video chat they cannot hear me when i speak

have you tried to use the mic on different application like skype or example . but at first go to start and type in the search bar sound recorder and see the recording gauge if it goes up and down if you speak . if it doesn't then there is a problem with the mic setting please identify if it works first

Did you put it in Silent mode?

Hi, this may not be super helpful but the only thing I can suggest with this problem is to go to your game options and see if you can change any settings for your microphone or headset through there. If you are still unable to find a solution try to unplug and reset everything.

If you still are having the same issue I suggest contacting either the headset's manufacturer for technical support, or the Playstation technical support.

Make sure that your sound is turned on on both yahoo chat and your computer and that you have a microphone to speak into for them to hear you

Can other players hear you speaking on XBOX Live chat? I'm not sure if you mean "you" can't hear yourself speaking or that "others" can't hear you speaking.

You probably need a new talkback cable. They are purchasable on the turtle beach website or contact their support about a replacement.
