Creda cf50g cooker oven not getting hot


sounds like the ffd is at fault, this is a safety device that alows the main flow of gas through. when the cooker is cleaned the sensor can be moved by accident from its position over the flame, another reason could be a build up of grease etc, stopping the flame reaching the sensor. if none of these then the ffd unit needs to be replaced. they are about £20.00 for the part

The stove lights, but the oven is not turning on.


if the oven flame is staying on low,you need to replace the FFD.

Have to beat on burner to flame up it was on preheat for an hour didn't get hot guess burner is out


check if FFD flame is on sensor,you may have to replace the FFD.

most stoves have a heat probe, unfortunately it cannot be adjusted.

is there are fault code on the display?

Gas ove will not stay lighting


Hi there you need to change the ffd on your oven FFd stands for flame faliure device. its like an temperature controlled switch. it is located in the oven and this device is what lets the gas go through once it has reached a certain temp. It must only be done by a corgi qualified engineer and to be honest your loooking at about 100 pounds.
