After a paper jam, I got a code of SC 541 and copier will not completely turn on.

Yes a SC541 is a Fusing thermistor that is open. If you had a jam it could possibly be a piece of paper that got wraped around the fuser roller. You will have to go into technician service mode afterword to reset this code.

I am guessing... I had to get my magic ball out to figure out what kind of copier you have... You have a Richo copier? If that is correct you most likely have a problem with the fixing unit.
