Which pins on a 13 pin plug for a bose powered acoustimass 25 series II module would i use just for subwoofer

I know this is late but might help someone plus I had to repair the audio input cable going from my acoustimass 25 series II to the Lifestyle 5 receiver. The 13 pin connecter cable terminates to 2 RCA jacks (red/white) one 3.5 mm jack and a female RCA which is the digital sound source. looking at the connector with the 13th pin on the bottom, I reference the pins from 1-13 starting at the top left:

PIN 1 RCA (RED) center conductor
PIN 2 RCA (RED) sleeve
PIN 3 RCA (digital) sleeve
PIN 4 RCA (digital) center conductor
PIN 5 RCA (WHITE) sleeve
PIN 6 not used
*PIN 7 3.5mm RING (?????)
PIN 8 3.5mm SLEEVE
PIN 9 RCA (WHITE) center conducto
PIN 10 not used
PIN 11 not used
PIN 12 3.5mm TIP
PIN 13 not used

* the 3.5 mm stereo jack is used for system control on the back of the lifestyle 5 receiver, the cable that terminates to the 3.5mm is a 3 conductor cable that terminates to PIN 8 & PIN 12 but PIN 7 only has continuity from the pin itself to the white cable (within the 3.5mm cable) but not all the way through to the 3.5mm ring (where i would assume it to terminate). Maybe this is where my problem is, I don't know but I spliced the cable right before the 3.5mm jack and there was continuity between PIN7 and the white cable that corresponds to the 3.5mm jack I just dont know where its terminating too. If anyone can confirm that it is supposed to terminate to the ring of the 3.5mm connector I would appreciate it.

1991 Buick Park Ave. climate control stopped working. Replaced electronic (dual zone) climate control module, unhooked negative battery cable to reset module and climate control worked for appx. 3 weeks,...

Check to make sure that you have enought freon to engage the compressor, then you will need a flow chart to take you through the rest of the steps necessary to diagnos this problem. The Electrical system manual for Buick is the only one that will have the proper information for you to walk through the steps to dead head it. There is a HVAC programer that is behind the floor heater duck work. It has a numbering system that goes from (2) rows of pins that go 1-16 for terminals. On terminal 5-7 with ignition in run position, you need bat. votage. Terminal 10 & 11 you need 4-5 volts. Neither 10 or 11 should be unplugged just yet since 10 feeds 11 pin. If there isn't any voltage at these pins, check for corrosion on the pins theirself, or for the pin that it may have slipped back out of the connector. Good luck.

Can i get a connector for the ribbon cable for JVC UX-A4 stereo?

If you sacrifice the Cassette player functionality, you should be able to use pin 6 as ground and cut pin 7 and 8 in the ribbon cable to use as an AUX input instead of the cassette player.
At least that's what I'll try.

Need video jack

I interfaced the SAVV LM-S6001 today. Here's what I found;

Looking straight on at the male 8 pin DIN connector here's how I'll describe it. There are 3 pins across the top row. From left to right I'll call them 8, 7, 6. There are 2 pins on the left side of the middle row, 5 leftmost and 4 adjacent to the center. Moving right, there is a gap and then pin 3 on the rightmost side of the middle row. There are two pins on the bottom row, pin 2 on left and pin 1 on right. Draw that on some paper.

8 7 6
o o o
5 o o o 3
o o
2 1

Pin 1 is +12VDC
Pin 2 is center contact of both audio and video RCA jacks
Pin 3 is -12VDC
Pin 4 is outer RCA contact for Video
Pin 5 -n/c
Pin 6 -n/c
Pin 7 -n/c
Pin 8 is outer RCA contact for Audio

Now, I don't know what pin 7 does, but it is wired next to pin 4 suggesting a video application, Svideo is my best guess. I can only test for a composite video connection that I am using.

It's alive!

Auxillary option not available in menu

Try putting the unit in standby via the "SRC" button FIRST..., then press the menu button and cycle through to the "AUX 1" option and activate this....then press menu button again. When the unit is next switched on, you should have an "AUX" option accessible via the "SRC" button which will cycle through all of the availale modes ....standby-tuner-cd-aux etc etc.
