Hi, if you could give me more information on this unit, I could be of more help. Such as, does it have an automatic ignition, or a standing pilot, the age of the unit.I can assume that the pilot is on but the burners don't ignite on a call for heat at the thermostat? If you have the automatic pilot, you may have a problem with the flame sensor. It is mounted next to the pilot and is a ceramic solid tube with a metal rod extending from the end. With the flame on the end of this, the rod will get Carboned up and you can clean it with steel wool not sand paper. This may take care of the problem and may not. Just some things you can check. The 1st thing I would do would be to check the thermostat. You can bypass it and see if the furnace will fire up. You will need to remove the cover to get to the stat. Unplug the furnace 1st to kill power to the stat. It is 24 volts but its best to shut it off when working on it.This is a very simple test. you now need to get to the subbase where your wire connections are. There will be a few small screws that hold the stat to the back, which is the subase. When you get to the wires, you will see about 4 if this is a gas furnace which I believe it is. If you have a jumper wire, a piece of insulated wire with clips on each end would be perfect. If not and you have some one who can help, just take a lenth of wire and plug your furnace back in.With someone watching the burners, touch one end to the red wire and it should have an R there. Hold it there and touch the other end to the white or W terminal, this is heat. See if the unit fired up. If it did, then replace your thermostat.Do not be afraid when you jump these 2 terminals out as you may or will see it spark. It is very low voltage and you will be fine. This sounds like a long and difficult process, but it is the 1st thing to check when a furnace is down. Please do this step by step and let me know what happens. I bet this will take care of your problem.Remember, step by step. Good Luck and please let me know and we can go from there. Sincerely, Shastalaker7 .
