Need to know how to upgrade processor in an Acer

here is a link that should help.. the only thing i can add is make sure you note and pay special attention to the orientation of the processor. Specifically where pin one is, if this is your first time doing it take a picture of the processor area so you can note which corner pin 1 is when you insert the new chip... Also make sure you have a static srap attached to your wrist leave the computer plugged in but turn of the switch on the surge protector and ground yourself to the chasis of the pc.
