Steamist Temp/Power Control: TC-135

The LED readout on my steamist power/temp control unit has stopped. Is this an electrical or battery problem? I've checked for tripped switches on my main electrical panel and can't find any. I haven't had any issues before on the Steamist home shower steamer and then one day the control panel just stopped. Is this an easy fix?

is there a battery in the control unit? (Steamist TC-135)? It doesn't appear to have any access point.

Yes. I found the fuse. Thanks.

There should be a battery like a watch battery in side of it.

Check the voltage going into the unit,if posisble, this will tell a lot, follow the iring to the main board and see if there are fuses in the board. If there are no access to inside of this control, then it would have to be powered,by the circuit board in the main unit.

If you have access to both ends of the connector cable we would suggest unplugging the connections and inspecting them to ensure they are clean and dry. also it does not appear that there is a battery in that unit. if you don't have access you may also try resetting the unit by interupting the power for about 5 minutes

The system was worming, producing steam and then quit working. The key pad does not work when the start/stop pad is depressed. The system is about 5 years old.

Steamist comes with 5 year warranty, hopefully yours is still under the line.
