I cannot install my Lexmark X5250 All in one printer on to Windows 7. operating system
Problem for Lexmark X2500 All-In-One Printer
I am trying to instal my old, but workable Lexmark
I am trying to instal my old, but workable Lexmark 2400 on my new Toshiba L450 laptop from the original disk which came with the printer. I thought I mad managed but when I click on the Lexmark Imaging Studio icon on desktop I am told the lxcrlpx.exe file is 'missing'. It suggested I re-install which I did but still no luck. Can anyone help an old lady from getting any MORE grey hairs. PLEASE xx

- Thanks but I still need help. I have downloaded the file you suggested.I then get to INSTALL and the Lexmark page "Install Your Printer", "Please 1)connnect all cables to your printer and 2) turn the power on" "How is the printer connected to your computer?" With a USB cable is checked. "Note installation will continue automatically when the USB cable is connected. Under that there is "Tips for connecting USB cables" with a linnk which I have read through for help! Underneath there is "The printer is attached to and shared on a remote computer (Peer to Peer). This box is UNCHECKED. Then there are the two options "CANCEL" and "CONTINUE" but nothing further happens and the "CONTINUE" button is GREYED out. If I then try clicking on "The printer is attached to and shared ...", I do get an option (and can) "CONTINUE". Thanks for help so far.Solution #1

what operating system are you using? if it is vista you will need to download new drivers. follow this link and click on the download tab.

Go to the following Lexmark Support link and click the Downloads tab. Then choose the correct driver for your operating system and download it.
