Reboot the tele system, look for an updated software driver download on the LG web site, try different sources like VCR, DVD, Blu Ray to see if vertical line is there. If still there, then your tele is fu.k.d in which you should contact LG or replacement or repair. If you recently purchased this thing, then take it back to the shop and demand an exchange or refund for selling you this rubbish. Cheers.
