I have an LG plasma 42pc3d and last night I heard

I have an LG plasma 42pc3d and last night I heard a pop and the picture is gone. I still have sound, we called LG and they were not helpful at all. The tv has already had repairs once about a year and half after we got it. Now it's been a total of 3 years that we've had it and the picture is gone. Sounds like a lot of people have the same problem. has anyone been able to get LG to take care of this problem for them? I don't feel like we should have to pay for this problem when the tv is only 3 years old. They need to do a recall.
