SYSTEM SETUP OR BOOT MENU FOR TOSHIBA A40

I forgot my Windows login password. However, I understand I can reset it by expanding the Security tree and selecting Admin Password. However, I am not sure as to which function key (i.e. F8, F12 etc.) I should select. Is it possible to access the setup or boot menu? The operating system is Windows XP. Do you know of any other way to reset the password?

GuruRestart the computer,
Right after the Toshiba logo appears start tapping the F8 key.
You will get an option to start in Safe Mode.
Select this option and let the computer start in Safe Mode.
If given the option you will want to log in as Administrator.
After you are logged in you will want to go to the Control Panel and then click on the Users link.
Select your account and choose to remove the password.
Reboot the computer and you should be able to access your account.
