Question about Toshiba Satellite A15-S129 Notebook
When I plug in the AC adaptor and power cable, the AC power light does not come on & the laptop may not be turned on at all. I tested the adaptor using a digital multimeter; the adaptor appears to be working properly, showing 15,3 V (but it does not seem to become warm as it usually does when the laptop is operational). What else can I do? I don't have a working battery. Thanks to anyone who can help!!!
If you want to be daring, take the CPU Chip, the largest one on the board out, and reseat it. this has to be done carefully, as to not break any of the pins. When you put the chip back in, pull the little lever up that the mount holds down, this will allow the chip to slide into the holder once it is in, gently push the lever back down, put be mindful of the amount of force that you use, then reattach everything, and keep your fingers crossed

Probly the ac connector has came loose from the motherboard. It's quite common on these models.
It can be re-soldered (possibly) and requires the board taken out completely.
