Try downloading latest video card drivers from the net for your card, and see if that helps.

Are you changing the rotation using the ctrl+alt+right arrow. left arrow or down arrow? That is how i change the rotation on the screen. If needed lower the resolution in the display settings in control panel.

Installed new Acer P236H to a few years old Windows XP system. Graphics, pictures are squished and skewed, text appears fine. Have played with settings, OSD and Win Display. Never resolved problem, but...

What device-resolution combinations is your computer's video-card capable of? 1024 by 768 by 60 Hz? 1024 by 1024? Anything that matches that "native" resolution of the ACER?

You may need to upgrade your video-card, to support the "native" resolution of the ACER.

Move the mouse so it is way, way down in the lower right corner. Place a penny or dime on the mousepad touching the upper left corner of the mouse. Pull the mouse diagonally down to the right a distance equal to the diameter of the coin. Then back up to the coin.

Right Click

Take your hand off the mouse because the rest is on the keyboard.

up <arrow>

hold <Shift> press <Tab>

right <Arrow> 10 times.

left <arrow> (decreases resolution, right arrow to increase)

By the by if you can find a monitor that will accept the resolution you selected on the 'Properties' window you can switch it back the normal way
