Question about KitchenAid KUDR01TJ Dishwasher
Is there a reset or other solution for blinking "rinse only" & "cancel drain" indicator lights. If not, how do I repair?
My kitchen aid manual states that a stuck key will cause that key light to blink. If yours is like mine, the buttons are not mechanical, but rather a membrane switch. (Flat sticker like) This statement takes up less than 2% of the technicians troubleshooting guide. Mine is on the back, bottom right hand side. good luck.

Open the door. Within 3 seconds press the following sequence --Try pressing normal wash, heated dry, normal wash, heated dry, normal wash, heated dry three times within 6 seconds and then press cancel to reset the dishwasher. If that doesn't help then try pressing Saini Rinse, Heated Dry, Saini Rinse, Heated Dry, Saini Rinse, Heated Dry or Saini Rinse, Air Dry, Saini Rinse, Air Dry,Saini Rinse, Air Dry 3 times in 6 seconds and then the Cancel Button. Close the door and press Cancel.
Blinking lights would stop and should be able to use your dishwasher normally. If the light is still blinking try and reset the power to the dishwasher and try again. If still the light is blinking then check for the connections on the keypad, it may be due to moisture or shorted connections on keypad.
Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more information.

START/RESET status indicator light flashing
You have pressed the indicator light flashing START/RESET pad while the START/RESET dishwasher is running. This will cancel the cycle. The light will stop flashing after the dishwasher drains (about 90 seconds).
• Press the pad once to start the dishwasher. Press the pad a second time when the dishwasher is running only if you wish to cancel the cycle.
Power to the dishwasher was turned off while a cycle was running and power has just been restored to the dishwasher. The blinking lights indicate that the dishwasher is draining the potential water inside.
• The light will stop flashing after the dishwasher drains. A new cycle will start automatically.
