Problem for Acer Aspire 5630 PC Notebook
Acer 5620z notebook will not boot up this morning
acer 5620z notebook will not boot up this morning getting message media test failure no operating system found.

- I tried removing battery and that did not work, also receeded hard drive. I get f2 screen. Changed the bios to cd and tried installing recovery disk said no hdd found. Tried installing without the hard drive in and still not getting anywhere. This computer is only 1 year 3 mos old, makes no sense. If you have any more suggestions. I even took to a computer place and they could not figure it out. I need to find another computer expert.Clarification Request

Remove battery. Reinstall after 5mins

The most-likely cause is the failure of your disk-drive.
A less-likely cause is that the "data" and "power" cables between the computer and the disk-drive are not transmitting signals.
Take the computer to a qualified technician; he/she should be able to remove the disk-drive, and test it in another system.
