You need to use the software utility that comes with the Handycam pack, which would covert the videos into a file in you PC.

What is ssid connect laptop to pc.laptop to be used in family room laptop is toshiba c650

the ssid is the name of the router that you are trying to connect to. the name can also be changed to whatever the end what the name to be as well in the router. so if your linksys router uses the default name then the ssid would be "linksys" or "link".

Can I connect an acer aspire one to a samsung TV

Yes, but it depends what outputs on the laptop, and inputs on the tv.
If they both have HDMI, then just link them up with a HDMI cable, go to the display settings in control panel and adjust the multi display settings ( clone or extend the desktop)
You may have to use a VGA d sub cable, this is ok, but you wont get any sound transfered with the picture.
I also found this advice.....

The Acer Aspire One doesn't have a TV output, but if your TV is modern, it may have component inputs.

If you have component inputs, then you can use a VGA to component convertor to output to the TV. You will need to set the video mode to something that will work on the TV, probably 640x480 at 60Hz If it is not an HDTV. Amazon sells a number of converters to go form a computer's VGA output to the component in use by most TVs today:

If your TV only has S-Video, odds are that even if you use a converter, the quality on the TV will be poor - my experience using S-Video outputs from PCs is that the TV is just a blurry mess, you can't really even read text very well, and media looks like ****. Maybe the converter box will work better than the direct outputs I have experience with, but I honestly don't think that would be the case.

Here's a converter box that will make it easy, but the quality will be limited by the TV and S-Video input:

So, you do have some options, but no guarantees on the quality level that you will get unless you have an HDTV.

Have you secured your wireless access from unauthorized access?
To connect to your wireless router, it needs the router’s wireless settings configured and also needs the wireless cards in all the laptops and or computers to be configured with the router’s wireless settings. Then the laptops and desktop computers can communicate with your wireless router.

To set-up and secure the wireless router from unauthorized access, follow these steps: -
1. Connect the wireless router to your computer with a LAN cable.
2. Start your browser and enter the router's configuration URL IP address.
3. Enter the router setup, login and password
4. Change the admin password
5. Go to the wireless settings and change the default SSID and turn off SSID broadcast.
6. Setup encryption key the strongest is WPA2 (if not then WPA).
7. For further security measures - turn on MAC address filtering and enter the MAC address of the wireless cards on the computer/s you want to connect to this wireless router.
8. Record the settings you have made and keep it in a safe place and Save the settings.
9. Configure the wireless cards on the computer/s with the SSID and encryption settings of the router.
10. Remove the LAN cable between the router and the computer then the computers should be able to connect to the router wirelessly.

Cable modem connection keeps repeating checking and then down over and over, tried a different router works fine, tried a different modem same issue

I had a similar problem a while back when I bought a new cable modem. I didn't realise that my cable provider needed to have the serial number of my cable modem configured on their system.

I ended up calling them to ask them about the problem.

There is no way I could have solved it without calling them.

I think it is to do with stopping unauthorised users from connecting to the cable.

I remember they wanted my name, age and grandma's inside leg measurement before they would help me.

So if you have nothing to hide just give them a ring and make them help you. This is what you pay them for after all.

  4. Under Mode, set your proficiency to Beginner. (Beginner has all the options you'll ever need as a downloader.)
