Question about Brother MFC 420CN All-In-One InkJet Printer
Printer was working just fine now will not print anything in black ink. All cartridges are full. I had the Brother 'clean' the ink, still will only print the if there is color on the page I want printed.
Make sure that the carts are FULL, placed well and are secured!
press menu then start bk copy then fourtimes arrow-up-button.
machine will be in maintenance mode. press 7 then 6 then 4 then start bk copy. machine will initialize the carts and refresh ink in tubes and the ph. leave the maintenance mode when finished by pressing 9 then 9.
Run a quality test print.
If you still cant see any bk this might be because of generic ink which had clogged the bk channel. this cant be fixed anymore!
