I have tried to install my Canon Pixma MP210

I have tried to install my Canon Pixma MP210 today. However, I followed the manual to insert ink, no problem then got the on/off button continually flashing and the e message and the number 2 intermittently flashing. Please help! The ink is genuine Canon!
