My 8 year old Logitech Wingman 3D joystick has become very "noisy" due to dirty contacts in the "pot" inside the stick. I've removed all the screws in the bottom, but I have yet to be able to pull this thing apart. It seems like there's another set of screws holding it down. Anyone who's had to do this maintenance, please coach me on what to do. Thanks, Steve.
Four screws on the stick itself must be removed (two screws are hidden by the black rubber boot. After the screws are removed, the stick comes apart into two pieces, but there is two plastic "snaps" that still holds it togeter. On the bottom of the stick there is a hinge that can be pried slightly apart with a flathead screw driver. Once the bottom is apart, I just wiggle the two stick pieces side by side until the top snaps apart.
