When turn computer on, the only thing that shows is Owner Log off - no icons

- The welcome screen comes up then it has the owner icon - and it says log off. When I do control alt delete it wants a wants a password for owner. I never had one. It worked fine two days ago and when my husband turned it on, this came up.
