Re: screen probs

It may be the screen on it,s way out or the settings have changed just like a television you may have to go into the bios and see if it has been changed in any way,,,

Re: screen probs

What do you mean by "both sides"?
Did only one side work before?
Please advise; I'm quite curious

Black bars on my you tube screen on windows 7

That is completely normal. Most Youtube Videos are posted in a 4:3 Letterbox Format. If it was filmed or uploaded in a 16:9 Widescreen format you would not see those bars. Try this HD Widescreen Format video link and let me know if the bars are gone:

I have got a Toshiba satellite L510, I spilled some soup on the left side of the keyboard, I dried the surfacde immediately and unplugged everything, the screen was working fine but there were some noises...

Unplugging it won't help unless you remove battery on let it dry out at lest a week, you can also let it dry out in a bag of rice this will help dry moisture out.You must be patient i think your out of luck

My hp g61 will only display a blank/black screen with the cursor after it has finish booting

That cursor is the way in which the BIOS of the laptop is telling you that Windows is completely corrupted and unbootable. You will need to reinstall it so use the recovery cd that came with the laptop.

My screen has gone completely white and yet still

the screen has gone completely white because there is a problem from the connection linking the screen to the board.

try to adjust the screen to the end and see what will happen.

if it does the same, that means you have to fix the flex of the laptop.

the flex is the part that links the board to the screen.

take care

The screen has just gone black. Like there is no

I think your having the same problem i have, i would like you to try something go find a monitor and plug it in hit the key combination that puts it on the monitor if it appears on the monitor like normal then your screen is broken but if the monitor goes black and your computer screen goes back to normal then your graphics chip is messed up but don't worry just reboot it if it is messed up, that should fix it.

Laptop won't start up

It sounds like your laptop is using it's external VGA adapter for its main display. Try holding down the Function (FN) on your keyboard located on the bottom left hand side and pressing F4 at the same time.

Screen is complete blackout when I turn on my hp compaq c6000

You either have a screen that has gone and needs to be replaced or a cheaper fix and usually a more likely one is that the inverter in the screen has gone out. The inverter is quite cheap, around $34.00. Try it

Dell inspiron laptop screen issue

First, are you sure you have the correct power supply?

Also, the lcd inverter could be going bad, consequently needing more power than it can get off the battery.

Hope this helps,

Good luck
