Question about Toshiba SD-6000
Have a Toshiba SD-6000 connected to a Samsung TN-4671 via HDMI. Menu selector will highlight option on a DVD but when you select te option you get the message "Not allowed at the moment."
I had the same problem with the same player for some DVDs. Fortunately, for me, there is a solution that has worked 100% of the time.
I am assuming you are probably setting the DVD player to upconvert to 1080 i or p. What you need to do is go to DVD setup and change the resolution back to standard def (480i) just for the menus. The menus will now work properly. Once the movie starts you can switch it back to 1080i/p with no problem.
