I have a unlocked sciphone i9+++ and it always

First, do you have a sim card in it that is activated and working with a GSM phone provider?

Second, assuming you do ( i took my old sim out of my previous working phone), does the phone see the sim? can you set up a sim password or change settings? If you can save to the sim or change settings, likely the sim is fine and the problem is with your phone.

I have 2 of these phones, one works great, the other... when I put the same sim in that works in #1, #2 phone will give me the 'no service'.

I have narrowed this down to being an anteana/receiver issue with the phone... I am in the process of getting it replaced.
