Plasma tv Recently my tv has patches of blue pixels flickering through the left side of the tv. They don't seem to have a pattern but are getting more consistant. The tv is about one year old and the problem was noticed two weeks ago. They do not appear on a solid black. only when the picture is a full screen and it doesnt matter if it is a hi-def or regular definition.

This happens because of panel conditioning. as the panel ages it requires different voltages to produce the picture.it takes about 1000 hrs before it has conditioned. it is a simple adjustment a tech can do for you. when this adjustment is made no other adjustment will be needed for this problem.

I have a patch of black pixels in the centre of my Plasma TV which is visible when the image is red or orange. How do I get rid of this

I am no expert but I believe this happens when the gas in those cells or pixels dies and nothing can be done, especially if an older model as they have only so many hours of life for a plasma tv.

You seem to have what is called error diffusion. Either call samsung about it and arange service or do it on samsung.com. What kind of warranty do you have? Depending on your date of purchase you might be able to get samsung to help cover it or pay for it all.

Hisense 42in plasma flashing blue/green pixels after 30 mins

Do a master reset
1. unplug the TV from the wall
2. remove the batteries from the remote
3. wait 24 hrs
4. plug TV into the wall socket
5. install batteries in remote
6. hold power on button for minimum 10 seconds
This was given to me by the Hisense service line and worked for my TV.

Blue snowy pixel areas on my plasma

some of these panels were mis-calibrated from the factory after not aging long enough. Let the TV run for atleast 2 hours and adjust the Vs and Vscan voltages. When it is blue in the left I have found generally the Vs is about 10 volts too high.

Samsung plasma PS42D5S

You need to adjust the panel voltages, adjust the VS voltage to around 186 volts, if that doesn't change it then adjust the V-Scan voltage down, turn the unit on and apply a video source to it, and while adjusting the voltages look at the screen and you should be abe to watch the video noise fade out.
