Coby MP-C552 My MP3 player Coby MP-C552 will not turn on could you assist me in information on how to turn it on?

    plug the usb and player in to computer.will blink but nothing happens.is not reading it on the computer

make sure what your putting on is MP3 or unprotected WMA files. If the light is blinking, then it means its playing the song, if you hear nothing, the audio is not in the correct format.

Double check that the battery has been fully charged, if it is removable, connect a torch lamp across it, it should light, if it does and you are 100% convinced that it`s charged and inserted the correct way round, try performing a hard reboot by removing the battery for about one hour or so to make sure that it`s completely discharged and the uPC inside the equipment is completely reset. Hope this works, Ian

Coby 610-2g mp3 player wont read or turn on

Dice file system error


Please call COBY electronics at 800-727-3592 and let them know you received that player as a Xmas present. They will tell you to send the unit to COBY with $6 money order and you'll receive a new player in exchange. During the Xmas warranty period which lasts until March, you will not need to send a copy of the receipt.

MP600 MP3 player automatically turns off when turned on

Lost instructions


Plug your MP3 player into your USB port go to your music folder click send to...
On my computer this would be drive K.

If your not sure remove your MP3 player go look in my computer at the list of drives you have plug in your MP3 player go look again.

The new drive showing will be your MP3 Player after open the Players drive you should see the list of songs you sent, now its ready to use.
