Broadcast reception

I don't have cable b/c I get bizarrely excellent broadcast reception...until tonight. I was watching NBC (channel 4) walked up to adjust the rabbit ear antenna and received a pretty strong shock when I touched one of the "ears" and poof all fuzz. Now I get nothing but fuzz on all the channels below 17. All the broadcast channels (2,4, 5,7, 9,11) come in as solid fuzz, but the high channels (all the spanish channels and HSN) come in crystal clear. I unplugged the rabbit ears connector and reattached. If it's entirely out I get nothing, if it's in I get only the high stations. should I get a new antenna?
