Hello!

I don´t know do you have pc or laptop, and what system you have.
Newest comp. and laptops, need two drivers for sound with win. xp.
One standard drivers, and second bus master for sound. If sound sometime works, and sometime don´t works, you must install standard drivers then second drivers.

If you have some older pc, I think that is the best new system and new sound drivers, or you must look for you chipset and install right drivers.

Reinstall the drivers for your sound card, you don't have to have the install cd just go to support.dell.com and choose your model pc, and dl the audio driver

Why am I not getting sound anymore?

Amplifier issue. See if you are getting audio signal at audio outputs used for recording. If not, then it is NOT the audio amp and the proceeding circuits are responsible.

U might also want to check out your power supply voltages to make sure that the other components are being properly fed.

Check your sound system in options, if everything is fine its something about amplifier on digital board, you need someone to make measures

Hi guys, I keep getting an error message that says: Stream reading error when I try to use the sony vaio recovery wizard. My computer is the sony vaio pcg-frv27 notebook. The first problem was that...

Try rebooting and hitting the F8 repeatedly as soon as the boot sequence starts. When it comes up to an options screen select repair. From there you can let windows try to repair or select to install to the factory settings.

Sound stops suddenly

Alright, so wait, explain that again, It stops working when your using it, or when it goes into standby?

It starts working again after what? When you come out of standby?

When going into standby, the system goes on low power may cut the power to your speakers.

Check your Power settings.

RIGHT CLICK on DESKTOP> Select properties, Go to screen saver Tab and click on the Power button, then check all the power options such as when it goes into standby, how long till it does and adjust them to your preferences, also make sure Hibernation is turned off as well, when it goes into Hubernation, it cuts almost everything.

Give this a try and let me know,
good luck

Harmon Kardon unlock error

I have the same problem. All of a sudden no sound through my TV connection (but through the DVD connection the sound was still working). I changed the connection from video 1 to video 2 and got the sound back. It is not a real solution, but a practical one :-)

No sound from CDJ-800 MK2

Are you getting error messages? Running in thru LINE? Is not on mute? The possiblity of both not playing would lead to process of elimination.

Keep me posted.
