Question about Home Satellite Radios
I bought an XM-ready receiver. I even got the XM packaging open (both th mini-tuner and the home dock/antenna). It's plugged in to the XM input on the back of the receiver, and the antenna is plugged in.
According to the XM instructions, I simply tune to channel 1, then activate.
I've already activated, but how the *&@# do I "tune" ??? The mini-tuner itself doesn't have any dials or buttons, the antenna doesn't either. And the Onkyo instruction manual does not address XM, simply touts that it's XM ready.
I'm assuming the input selector should be CBL/SAT? But the tuning selector I use for FM has no effect.
SOURCE: sirius/xm activation
Typical, they wont recognize sirius and xm on the same account. tyou need to close the old account and open a new account on the new brand head and start from square one. Also - they wont give multi head discounts if you have a mix of siruis branded heads and xm branded heads - each brand needs its own account and own e-mail address. They **** in this regard. Good luck, ive decided between this backwards book keeping and aneed to keep resetting my Sirius head periodicaly that neither is worth the aggrivation so I cancelled all of them.
