I have problem with CD player.

The drive tries to read the CD but fails, then "resets" to try again. It is likely the complete unit will have to be replaced even though the other functions work.

Turns off / shuts down by it self

not sure if my last post was posted, but my unit has the same problem. It can randomly shut off after 2, 5 or 10 min. I have read somewhere, that it might be the fan on the back of the unit. still looking for solution....

Mp3 player

While you may read over a million answers to this problem, try this one first:

With the KEY ON, POWER THE UNIT OFF, by pushing the volume button IN for 3 seconds.
After power is off and key is STILL ON, press and hold the volume button AGAIN for 3 FULL SECONDS. The elusive "Initial" settings should reappear at this point. To get out of INITIAL SETTINGS, simply press again for THREE SECONDS, or press "BAND" to "escape"...

You will need to turn ON the AUX1 or AUX2 functions (or both depending on any other installed items) in this menu to allow it to work.
I hope this helps.

CD stuck in player

Both times that a cd has become stuck in the player I simultaneously pushed the power and eject buttons. I came across this solution in the owner's manual and it worked perfectly both times I have had to do it.

AUX inputs

Turn the ignition key to on or accessory position, turn the stereo off, then hold the function key for a couple seconds, the stereo will turn on and you scroll through the menu with the left and right arrow buttons and change settings with the up and down buttons
