simply open safari, right click where the address bar used to be, click customize and drag and drop the URL bar from the available items to where it used to be. You will see a the cursor turn into a green "+" icon when it is ready to be dropped into its new home.

- in case you are curious.. to right click simply hold down CTRL while pushing the mouse button.
