Goodday!
My laptop monitor blinks when i start and will go on for awhile. What may be the problem with the monitor? My laptop is hp pavillion dv4-1225ee and 8 months old. Thanks!

it sounds like the lcd inverter board may have gone bad- its what powers the back light on the monitor similar to a flourescent light. usually its fairly cheap to replace (around 25 used on ebay) typically its located inside the lcd bezel on the bottom center.
